I guess the only way to tell is to look at countries that allow certain drugs and what the effects are.

Would there be less crime? Would it be the same as ending prohibition against alcohol? Would our streets and schools be safer? Would our children be approached less about taking drugs? Would our police forces be able to focus their attention elsewhere? Would spending go down? These are questions that needs to be discussed. If the answers to these questions are definitively "Yes", then let's talk. If "No" then forget about it. If the answer is we should legalize drugs so we can tax the people more, then no. Stop with all the taxes and spending!

People have been using drugs like opium for thousands of years. Legalizing it may resolve a lot of denial and problems derived from. Cocaine, Marijuana, and Heroin are just the main drugs being traded for Oxycotton. Your parent's are the one's who need to instill good decision making skills into you. The government can help but what do you want a Socialized country. It's already a double standard with cigarette's and alcohol killing more than all the illegal drug's combined and then some.

The better question is, what would change if drugs were legalized? Answer me this.
