Why isn't the US government an option?

just had a very sharp lady tell me that Russia is the biggest threat, they are supporting Cuba, Iran, Venezuela plus beginning to cut off natural gas to Europe. All of which causes trouble for the US.

China is the largest holder of US treasury bonds. If they dump them, the dollar will be worthless. They could shrink the US share of the world economy by 30% almost overnight. That makes them much more dangerous than Russia.

I would go with CHina had it been on the list
