Do you mean to tell me that the only degrees worth pursueing are law and medicine?? What about engineering, pharmacy, education, business, computer tech, etc. It kills me that people think that if you are not a doctor or a lawyer that you have wasted your time. Having a master of education degree allowed me to TEACH those who would pursue those fields of study. There are over 50,000 job titles available in the U.S. all of which pay more than in most other countries in the world. My little "unimportant" degree allowed me to retire at 53 with 30 years service and then do whatever I have wanted since. You guys really torque me!!

Also, only 20 to 25 percent of jobs require a college degree, but amost all require a high school diploma. If you think school is overrated, were did you learn to be on time and to be prepared for each day at work. You actually might have learned to write a sentence and add up figures so you can keep within your budget. If you did not learn these skills, you really were not paying attention!!
