If you have done your best, then you are a winner no matter what the score. Is winning nice, absolutely, but is not the whole story. Learning how to handle failure is a more useful life skill.

Good point Jim. We don't let our children fail these days. In school and sports today, every child is rewarded. Then they grow up feeling entitled to something. Then we end up we huge "stimulus" plans with everyone wanting a bailout. It's one root of the problem. The other root is the "got to have it now" mentality that got everyone in debt.
