Obama does not want to talk to the Taliban, he wants to talk to moderate taliban. How moderate can a movement be that kills everyone that does not do as they say? Anyone that treats women as chattel slaves and as only receptors of mans seed, but with no importance beyond childbearing and servitude is a long way from moderate. I guess one that only beats his wife once a week is a moderate.
