If something is unconstitutional then it is unconstitutional. Yes, I'm upset about the bonuses but we can't go against the Constitution and tax target certain individuals. Taxation without representation. REMEMBER THIS IS WHY WE FOUGHT THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION.

From www.yaliberty.org If the American people are so angry over the $218 million in AIG bonuses, how come they are not storming the White House and Capitol with pitchforks and torches over all of the bailouts in the past year? The media cycle these past few days has been a massive distraction from the much greater problem - the $11.6 trillion in bailouts the US government has committed in the past year. When you do the math, $218 million is 1/53,000th of the total money committed in the bailouts. The bonuses are .000019% of the total cost. What about the other 99.99998%? AIG could give out the same bonuses every day for the next 145 years and still not reach the total amount of money the US govt has given away in one year.

Disagree because Congress knew about these bonuses before they even passed the bill and wrote in (thanks to Chris Dodd) and exception for bonuses that were already in contracts. Also congress is not allowed to pass bills that target individuals or specific private organizations. I think all of this uproar is a cover for other things they want to slip by the public, such as nationalizing health care and gutting the second amendment. In short, large steps toward socialism.
